I painted this painting when I was in Richmond. I had the greatest "studio space" as I painted on the back porch of my sister's house with a fabulous view of the James River!
I am really delighted with this painting. It's different from many of the ones I have painted before but I love it. The color scheme was gray, gold and slate blue. It's going in the downstairs family room of a gorgeous house and I can't wait to see it on the wall. Here is a close up:

You can still join me in South Pasadena in a week and a half for my three day workshop. The dates are October 12 - 14th. Click here for more information! I am also offering Online Studio painting classes every month. Join me each month as we paint boats, roosters, glass, beach scenes, umbrellas, abstracts, etc. with a palette knife.
